Civics Match

Games honoring 225 years of the Bill of Rights

About

The Bill of Rights was adopted as law on December 15th, 1791 when Virginia became the eleventh state to ratify it. This site honors that event in the form of a series of games that test knowledge of the rights guaranteed therein and reference relevant Supreme Court cases. A memory game/quiz will be released during every odd-numbered month in 2016 (except January), beginning March 16th (James Madison's birthday).

To keep up with game releases, copy/import one of the calendar feeds below into your favorite calendar system. You might want to add an event as a reminder that December 15th is Bill of Rights Day as well!
